It’s been said that if you love what you do, it doesn’t feel like work. That, however, does not mean you don’t have to work hard. The home furnishings industry is an exciting field in which to work. Design, sales, marketing, training, specializing in accessories or window treatments, space planning, customer care, installation, logistics and so on. For many, it’s a labor of love! For our business owners, it’s more than a labor of love, its a dream career that includes all of the above.
The owner/decorators of Decorating Den Interiors are living their dreams. If you ask them if they love their careers, the answer is YES! When the question is about how hard they work… well there is no way around it, they work extremely hard.
What’s the pay off? For some it’s the creative expression, others the income, and for all, it’s the happy clients. Most of our talented and hard-working professionals are driven by all of these reasons and the independence that comes with following their passion and working for themselves.
A career as a design professional and business owner is rewarding in and of itself; but to be independent and part of a collective group of others who share our passion is the icing on the cake.
